Breath of Bhakti is designed to introduce participants to the essence of living and breathing Bhakti Yoga — the path of faith, trust and love. Through discussion, storytelling, and reflection, we will explore how Bhakti can be (and already is) woven into daily life, making it accessible to anyone, regardless of background, lifestyle or abilities.
This workshop is designed for people from all walks of life — householders (Grihastha Yogis), professionals, seekers — anyone who wishes to deepen their spiritual connection and cultivate trust, love, and devotion in their lives. You do not need prior experience in Yoga or Bhakti practices to participate. Alternately, if you’re an experienced student, this program will help you enrich and enliven your practice.

Shell Andréa and Anton Aguiar have been living the path of Yoga for a combined 35 years, with a deep love for the practice of Kirtan. Since 2017, they have been offering this form of devotional chanting throughout the Yoga community, inspired and guided by their beloved teacher and Guru, Sri Prasad Rangnekar, based in Mumbai, India. With his encouragement, they share the beauty of live musical mantra — a call-and-response practice that calms the mind and fuels the heart.
Shell and Anton will be visiting us on their way from their home in Manitoba to a teaching engagement at Sivananda Yoga Retreat Ashram Bahamas. Be sure to stay for the Together in Bhakti Kirtan in the afternoon, where Shell and Anton will join Divine Resonance and the Hut will be humming with heart and harmony!
