Practice at Stream

Karma yoga at Stream

Thank you to our karma yogis who recently helped to spread mulch at the base of the trees that surround the Hut.

Stream is a community of people who come together to practice yoga + meditation. It is a passion project (rather than a profit-making venture). We thrive (and exist so others can thrive) because of the kindness, generosity and commitment of our members.

“Karma yoga” is essential to our yoga practice: through service and generosity, we transcend the limiting notion of an independent “small self,” fostering connection with others and creating the conditions for insight and compassion to flourish.

We are so grateful to those who were here or wanted to be here! Thank you to Nicholas, who had the idea to nurture our trees with mulch and offered to head up the project. Thank you to Tori, Olga and Stevie-Rae, for your sweat equity and enthusiasm, and to Pauline who contributed towards the materials and wanted to be here! And big thank you to Caroline, who led our karma yogis in some yoga after the work was done!

We are planning a Karma Yoga Hut Day for August. It’s a great way to spend time together, getting to know each other and supporting the beautification of our space.

We hope you will join us,
Heather, Michael & Harper
