Join us for a morning of quiet contemplation as we begin a New Year and explore the practice of making resolutions.
The art of stopping is also the art of moving forward. We must distinguish for ourselves which habits and tendencies are holding us back and which lead us onward to experiencing freedom and joy.
With mindfulness and intention, we can learn to surrender to the natural flow of Life and trust the innate goodness of our heart-mind.
Together, we will enjoy yoga, yoga nidra, guided meditation, journalling and the power of silence and community to hold and heal.
“Practicing mindful breathing and coming back to ourselves to take care of our body throughout the day, we can free ourselves from our regrets about the past and worries about the future, and live deeply every moment, getting in touch with the wondrous, refreshing, and healing elements that are available inside and around us.” — Thich Nhat Hanh
The movement (yoga) portion is suitable for all abilities. Beginners are very welcome.
